Toysmith Light-Up Galaxy Ball

The swirling light patterns are mesmerizing when it bounces across the floor, and my nephew hasn't put it down since he opened it. Activation is simple enough that he figured it out on his own, which is a win for a six-year-old.

My kids fight over who gets to hold it when it lights up—the swirl effect is mesmerizing in a dim room. It's held up to plenty of drops on the driveway, and the flash patterns change just enough to keep them entertained for way longer than I expected.

Bought this for my nephew’s birthday and the whole living room went dark so we could watch it flash those galaxy swirls as it bounced off every wall. The activation is simple enough that a six-year-old can do it himself. It’s held up fine to three days of rough floor play so far.
