Dickie Toys Micro World Vehicle Playmat

We’ve got three of these mats now and the farm scene alone keeps my toddler busy for twenty minutes at a stretch. The detail on the tiny vehicles and buildings is surprisingly sharp for the price, and the mat lies flat on the carpet without curling up at the edges.

My kid is obsessed with the rescue vehicles mat — the detail is impressive enough that he actually makes up stories about each little scene. It lays flat right out of the package, which is a relief since most playmats curl up at the edges. We've already spent an hour on the floor with it today.

The farm mat has such bright, detailed scenes that my toddler parks his tractors on it for way longer than I expected. Each of the four mats feels like its own little world, so we just rotate which one comes out on playtime days.
