Didn't know what to expect from a blind box of blocks, but the assortment in mine actually snapped together tight enough to hold a little bridge shape. The reference pictures on the box gave me ideas without spoiling anything. Surprised how much I got for the price.
Pulled a purple and green combo I never would've picked myself, and they clicked together way more satisfyingly than the smooth bricks I grew up with. The little sample builds on the box gave me a starting point, but I ended up freestyling a weird little spaceship instead.
The reference pictures on the lid actually helped me figure out what I was building instead of just guessing. Everything snaps together tight enough that my little castle didn't fall apart when my kid knocked it over.
