The texture threw me off at first, but once I got used to the crunch it's honestly addicting. The vanilla flavor is surprisingly rich for something that just sits in a pantry, and the wafer layers still taste like actual ice cream sandwich. Tossed one in my hiking bag and it survived the whole trip
Didn't expect a freeze-dried ice cream sandwich to actually taste like real vanilla ice cream, but the creamy center totally does. The texture is crispy and airy, and it's genuinely ready to eat straight from the packet with zero mess. My kids demolished the whole box in one afternoon.
Took this on a hike and it stayed crunchy the whole way instead of melting in my pack. The vanilla flavor is surprisingly rich for something freeze-dried, and eating it straight from the packet with zero prep is the real win.
